We stopped in Cargèse. An interesting place according to the touristic guide. The village isn't very big, so you don't have many things to see, except for two churches. One of the two is Greek and worth seeing.
On the road between Cargèse and Porto, we went through The Calanches: in a chaotic landscape, stunning granite sculptures, that were shaped by erosion, standing out. It is impossible to miss this place. The road is narrow and there are many tourists and buses parked there. The average speed is about 15-20km per hour.
Campsite Les Oliviers, three-star (Location: Quartier du Pont, 20150 PORTO) It's quite luxurious with the swimming pool, tennis court, hammam (not free), fitness room. They give you a bracelet to access the swimming pool. Although, the bracelet is quite useless because nobody checks it.
Around the swimming pool there's a bar/resto where evening activities are offered, like polyphonic chants.
The sites for your tent are quite big, but you can't park your car nearby (some of them are totally hemmed in) but parking spaces are provided for that purpose. Nothing to report regarding the toilet blocks.
There's even a botanical walk which starts from the campsite down to the river. Nothing exceptional but if you had time, go ahead.
You've got markets (Spar & Proxi) and a bakery outside the campsite. You can go there by foot.
The town of Porto is quite little. It's divided into 2 parts: the town centre and the harbour. The harbour has a free parking lot. To go there, you must leave Porto and head towards Ajaccio and you'll find the road on your right.
We went to the tourist information office to enquire about the promenades in The Calanches. But unlike what the touristic guide indicates, the information weren't free: 3,50€.
Porto's beach is full of gray pebbles, overhung by the Genoese tower. Nice landscape.
